When the battery is exposed, take the old one out and place it in a location where you'll not forget it. Then, place the new battery in its new location, making sure that the positive (+) side of the battery is facing up. Once the new battery is in place, you can close the case and ensure that both sides snap into the correct position. Now you're ready to use your Mazda key fob once more!
